Today is the day...before I my last :)

Been in this job for nearly two years, helped numerous young people improve the quality of their live's, battled the mangement constantly, bucked tradition in the work place and las but by no means least......leaving some dear frineds behind.

A last dawn tommorrow followed by a completely new and scary one after that.

Was absolutely amazing 



After a HEAVY night out in the Krazy House on the Friday night (passed out on the stage and fell asleep) and somehow leaving Liverpool City Centre at 4:15am in the morning yet (it takes 20 minutes to get home) I arrived home (much to my flat mates annoyance after I walked into a wall……loudly) at 6:15??



A fitful sleep later saw me meeting up with Tony and getting some well earned coffee.

Once we had our tickets to paradise (Ok Manchester but hey, anywhere Korn is, is legend) we sat in our own world of male lewd banter and insults to pass the time.



Apparently I’m a GOFFFFFFFF as pointed out by some helpful pre teen girls I was terribly indebted to them (nearly 14 years dressing like this, “NEVER” occurred to me I was different).



At last we stumbled off the train  scouse accents singing off the tile’s like bells in a church we happily paraded down to the Apollo again with Coffee in hand.

We came to the Apollo at last to see a huge black scary snakelike monster!!!!!!!!!

(Which after closer inspection, turned out to be the queue).

We saw some familiar faces from Liverpool and WHAT HO the scousers were on parade!!!!!!!!!...........................until me an Tony buggered off to find a pub.



After ingesting numerous yet highly sociable pints in a quaint lil pub and meeting a plethora of our Liverpool counterparts , well people who SCARILY similar to people I know in Liverpool who were not there, yet it felt like they were because…………..you get the idea??



ANYWAY

On the inside we were nearly accosted and our nether regions handed to us (“Official Merchandise”) we slayed these payment driven demons with a simple plan, buy them later.

Upon finding our seat more ALE and revelry ensued, talking to people and basically ignoring the two warm up bands.



Then a techie brought upon us a familiar image, the MIKE STAND of Jonathan Davies, cloaked in black lest we be blinded by it’s majesty.

Then upon the Stage darkness descends, the figure of John approaches and BOOM!!!!!!!!

The lights go up the cloth is torn from the mike stand and hell (well a lil nice part) was loosed.



Bag pipes, new songs, old song, and a bit of microphone feedback ensued and a good time was had by all.



Drunken pix taken (soon to be posted on myspace) and then we gallivanted off to the K to spread the Joy and, and…………………..well it gets a bit blurry after that but WHAT AN AMAZING night.



And I respect the other people who it may be their 4th or 5th time but hey, it was my first time uh??

Means am gonna enjoy regardless if Munkey wasn’t there ok.

*Lights a ciggie and sit's back within the chair and studies the intricacies' of an object that has inspired sonnets, been named in wars and is a way to say in a thousand words what one touch cannot*



Amazing isn't it??



So small and fragile, yet the power it can hold.



For were it given to a lover, deep and meaningful and an affirmation of adoration.



The softness is a reminder of past lover's touch and a sweet caress that only the trusted can know, but like all that is in this world it can be deceiving.



Beneath the petals lie's not just the thorn (another thing of beauty which has developed thorns that draw blood to protect it's self) but the stem itself. To be so thin and yet support such a wondrous visage can speak volumes within itself. That dedication and work that breeds such a vision but is seldom heralded as if it the entire body was petals and thorns.



Yet such a thing though, wondrous to be with, stimulating the sense's and inspiring the mind can be so easily *clenches hand tightly* destroyed.



And we are the first to weep and cry aloud the injustice of the world when such a thing is no more, yet we *opens hand, blood well's from the numerous cuts* see that by our admission it could have been prevented. Well look at the blood dripping and say there was nothing we could have done, so old and sure of ourselves yet so childish and irresponsible.





To destroy or leave peacefully I leave you to look at the world we live, the people we interact with and how we conduct ourselves and leave you to your own conclusion

We are a just and noble people are we not?



The worst thing is, I can mean anything or nothing and you may have agreed but you don't know to what. Maybe??







*Clicks fingers and rose is back to former glory but held in a bloody hand*







But maybe if we can learn and change, beauty and inspiration will always be preserved.
